Dr. Steele teaches a variety of courses ranging from Introduction to Psychology to
Capstone courses. She has a strong interest in supporting students' experiences on
campus and working closely with faculty/staff in achieving this goal. Dr. Steele loves
teaching a variety of courses and meeting new students. In her free time, she likes
to work on puzzles, listen to audiobooks, visit family, and travel.
Dr. Steele is a researcher at the intersection of psychology and technology, where
the digital world meets human behavior. Her passion is uncovering how platforms like
TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube are shaping the way we think, feel, and connect. From
investigating the impact of social media on mental health and decision-making to exploring
how algorithms capture our attention, Dr. Steele’s work delves deep into the fascinating
connections between technology and the human mind.
