Campus Dining

MCLA’s Dining Services offer a welcoming space to enjoy traditional American favorites, authentic global cuisine, healthy options, and monthly specials featuring festive theme meals. Catering is also available right on campus. Throughout the year, Dining Services host special events such as student cook-offs, upscale dining experiences, and seasonal pop-up offerings—both inside and outside the Centennial Room—bringing fresh flavors to the campus community.

Our Locations

The Centennial Room on the first floor of the Amsler Campus Center is the main residential dining room and operates as an all-you-care-to-eat facility. Three retail locations are also on the first floor of the Campus Center:

  • Crafted Sandwich Shop
  • the POD, full convenience store
  • Late Night Grille

Bowman Hall features a Grab & Go and Coffee Kiosk on the lower level.

Autonomous Eats

Coming soon! An Autonomous vending cooler in Sullivan Lounge filled with pre & post workout snacks & beverages.

Grab & Go

Elevating the grab & go options in the POD. Guests will have the options of salads, sandwiches & snacks made fresh daily.

To-Go Containers

Students will have the option to take food to-go from the retail dining hall with a container for a small fee.

 

Restyling of the Stations

Re-naming and styling each station in the residential dining hall to give it it's own personality and look making each station a destination. Adding a spice/sauce station!

Meal Kits to Go

Coming soon! Order a meal kit for a swipe+ for guests to make a meal in their space at their own schedule.

 

 

Meal Plans

Dining on campus isn’t one size fits all. Meal plans were designed with you in mind, whether you are on a required meal plan, are looking to enjoy an occasional meal with friends, or just want snacks on the go. Learn more about meal plan options

Health & Wellness

Dining Services’ chefs and dietitians understand the challenges of eating healthy, especially when living away from home. They aim to make discovering healthy food fun, empowering and rewarding. Learn more at Health and Wellness.

There are no meal plan exemptions for students with residency requirements.

A meal plan is required for undergraduate residents, supporting access to healthy, diverse options. Dining staff can assist with accommodations before any changes and may be contacted at j.dydowicz@mcla.edu.

Students with specific dietary needs may apply for a medical meal plan by emailing Health Services at healthservices@mcla.edu. Approval is not guaranteed, and an approved medical meal plan is still a meal plan.

Vegan Options

To support our students who are vegan, MCLA Dining offers:

  • A vegan entrée is available at every meal in addition to the regular menu.
  • Vegan pancakes are available in the morning upon request.
  • A vegan dessert is served at every breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • A vegan stir-fry is offered at lunch Monday through Friday.
  • The menu includes 408 vegan items, or 14.91% of all offerings. This includes items from the salad bar, deli station, grill, vegan stir-fry, soups, desserts and entrées.
  • Pre-made meal kits with ingredients are available in a vegan option. Each kit is available for one swipe.
