On Thursday April 21, 2022 the College will sponsor the 20th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) to recognize our students for their hard work and dedication in producing outstanding academic projects. "Research" in this case is defined very broadly to include creative and scholarly work, and the conference is open to all disciplines.
The 20th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference will take place on April 21, 2022. The Undergraduate Research Council is soliciting 150-word abstracts for presentations: papers, posters, creative writing, visual artwork, and performances. Any questions or concerns regarding your submission please contact Dr. Anna Jaysane-Darr, Chair of Undergraduate Research (email@example.com), or, Dr. Nicole Porther, Associate Chair of Undergraduate Research (firstname.lastname@example.org). The Submission Deadline is Friday, March 11th, 2022.
IRB/IACUC Approval Students working with human or animal subjects are required to obtain clearance from the Institutional Review Board (IRB; human subjects), or the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC; vertebrate non-humans). IRB and IACUC proposals are to be submitted through your research faculty mentor/sponsor. Failure to submit an IRB or IACUC proposal BEFORE the abstract deadline will not be eligible to present at the Undergraduate Research Conference.
IRB/IACUC proposal deadline is: March 1, 2022.
All presenters and guests are invited to lunch reception and keynote address (lunch will be served in to-go boxes). If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know below.
